Expand Your Resources

It’s important to consider a variety of resources when learning a new skill.  Fill your e-reader or bookshelf with a variety of books to help you learn your craft of family history writing.  I’ve listed a few of my favourites below that have helped me along the way.

Also, consider the style of writing you wish to learn. Find an author you would like to emulate. Also included below is a variety of nonfiction narratives and memoirs to help you learn how others are writing their stories.
